Scott D. Seitzinger, D.M.D. brings over two decades of experience in endodontics, having dedicated his career to providing precise and compassionate care since 1996. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville in 1990, Dr. Seitzinger went on to complete his Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 1994. His passion for endodontics led him to further his clinical expertise with a residency at West Virginia University, which he completed in 1996.
Dr. Seitzinger is deeply committed to his professional growth and staying connected with the broader dental community. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Kentucky Dental Association, and the American Association of Endodontists, ensuring he stays at the forefront of advancements in his field. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Seitzinger values family time, often enjoying outdoor activities like fly fishing and spending time with his wife, Susan, and their three grown children and grand children.
Very quick procedure. As good as an experience you could ask for, given the situation. Staff was very pleasant and Dr. Shields and her assistant were very professional and personable. I would highly recommend them.
Dr. Seitzinger was sooo good with my extremely nervous 12 year old. He talked to her on her level and did everything he could to ease her. He monitored her pain and gave her time when she needed it. Patience is just what we needed and he gave her that! We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Dr. Seitzinger, Courtney and the entire staff were fantastic!!! Thank you!

Dr. Seitzinger did a root canal for me and was excellent! Kind, professional and informative about the procedure. His staff was also very friendly and professional as well! Highly recommend! Painfree and gentle!
